Aaron Jones BEM

Aaron Jones / Speaker & creative technologist

A builder’s view
of what comes next.

I’ve spent my career turning emerging technology into things people can experience. On stage, I share what it takes to get there—and what we could build next.

On stage & in conversation

Hear the conversation

The ideas.
The detail.
The human bit.

This excerpt gets into expressive AI avatars, how the pieces fit together, and where they might be useful. It’s a taste of the conversations I bring to a stage.

What we could explore

Big shifts.
Real experience.

We’ll shape the session around your audience: what they already know, the questions they’re asking and what they need to leave with.

01

From generative video to interactive worlds

What changes when AI stops giving us a finished clip and starts responding as we create? A look at real-time video, conversational characters and world models, informed by the systems I’m building.

For: creative teams, product leaders and technology audiences.

Take away: a clearer picture of what is possible now, what is still research, and where your team could experiment.

02

Turning research into something people use

A research result is a beginning. The next job is finding a use for it, building the team and making the experience work outside the lab. I draw on visual search, zero-shot talking photos and live AI projects I’ve led.

For: founders, innovation teams and business leaders.

Take away: practical questions for deciding what to build, who needs to be involved and how to test whether it matters.

03

Making space for new forms of creativity

At Big Screen Hack, filmmakers and engineers came together to make films in 48 hours and screen them in Cannes during festival week. What happens when people get the tools, collaborators and permission to try?

For: filmmakers, creative organisations, educators and cultural events.

Take away: ways to design creative experiments that lead to work people can see, share and respond to.

04

Building before the market catches up

From social enterprise at nineteen to visual search, generative video and now world models. An honest founder’s perspective on spotting an opening, doing the work and learning when the first answer isn’t the right one.

For: entrepreneurs, startup communities and leadership teams.

Take away: a way to think about timing, uncertainty and the people you need around you.

For your event

Let’s find the
right format.

I start with the room, not a fixed deck. Tell me who’s coming and what you want the conversation to open up.

Keynotes & live demonstrations

A clear story, examples from the work and, where it fits, technology your audience can experience. We agree the technical setup and a reliable backup beforehand.

Panels & fireside conversations

A founder and practitioner’s perspective, with space for questions, different views and the details that don’t fit on a slide.

Workshops & leadership sessions

A smaller room to work through your own opportunities: what to explore, what to question and what a useful first experiment could look like.
